BDO Performance Settings (WIP)

Here are my personal settings that I used to get the most of BDO. On a 4790k and GTX 1060, I am able to get at least 60 FPS (ish)  at all times. Because I play in windowed fullscreen, I am locked to my monitor’s refresh rate of 60 Hz for now. Your mileage may vary, and you may be able to get 60+ fps at all times on remastered, but I personally cannot. These settings can be tweaked as needed to get your desired level of performance.

  • I have found that the auto frame optimization has minimal effect and do not leave it on. Feel free to experiment and tweak as needed.
  • If your PC is low spec, the upscale option can bring your fps up as it renders at a lower resolution then upscales it.
  • I usually turn low power option off, but that’s optional. It is on in the screenshot because I wanted to save a bit of electricity. Turning off may increase FPS.
  • Attack decisions appear at areas on the ground for bosses, this is helpful for dodging AOEs.
